Ringwood RACE Display Boards

Ringwood Actions for Climate Emergency (RACE) asked us to design 2 display boards for their biodiversity project at Poulner Lakes. RACE have worked with Ringwood Town Council to plant the area near Poulner Lakes with trees and create a richer habitat. They required a couple of eye catching designs to inform visitors to the area about their project, and about the species that are seen thereabouts. One board will be displayed in the summer, showing samples of trees and associated facts. In the winter they will display the second board, featuring birds which visit the area. A QR code has

Finborough Wildflower Meadow Interpretation

Our latest board, for Finborough Parish Council really showcases our illustrator’s work. Plant and animal species were proposed by the client, which we then worked into a large panorama of the meadow. The result is a striking piece of interpretation which our client was very happy with: “Great Finborough Parish Council recently received an interpretation board produced by OSIS for its Wildflower Meadow. The design, artwork and recycled plastic materials used were of the highest quality. We worked with Shannon at OSIS to achieve exactly what we required; nothing was too much trouble.”

Wakefield Wildlife Signs

We were contacted early in 2018 to provide a quote for 11 display boards for South Kirby Woodlands & Wildlife Pond. Working closely with the Education Officer who identified the main themes and species needed for the displays we created a set of designs that were very well received. Vandal resistance was a big concern so we used full colour graphics printed onto graffiti proof materials rated for 10 year resistance to fading. The lecterns are made

Wareham Meadows

We have just completed a project for Wareham Meadows. Our brief was to research and design 2 interpretation boards and a brochure for this SSSI in Dorset. Wareham Meadows is next to a new development of homes and runs alongside the River Frome. It is a rich and unique habitat and sits just outside the ancient Saxon walls of Wareham. Interpretation was required to inform the increasing numbers of visitors about the ecology, history and access arrangements of the site. The first phase involved cataloguing and describing the species present, researching the historical aspect of the site, and writing accurate and descriptive copy. We established
